HDPE/PP Spiral Tank

The spiral tank process INVOLVES EXTRUDING A SPECIAL ENGINEERING GRADE of HDPE and PP into a strip and then winding it spirally and continuously overs rotating mandrel to form a homogenous, seamless shell.

The fabrication tanks are available in a wide range of shapes and size to suit your requirement.

VERTICAL TANKS Ranging in diameter from 300, 350, 400, 450, 500, 600, 700, 800, 900, 1000, 1200, 1450, 1600, 1750, 1840, 2000, 2200, 2400, 2550, 2700, 3000, 3300, 3600, 4000 mm and with storage capacities upto 80000 liters.
HORIZONTAL TANKS Available in diameter ranging from 300 mm to 3600 mm. Recommended to be used with suitable M.S. support structure
RECTANGULAR TANKS Available in a range of sizes. Recommended to be used with suitable M.S. support structure.

NON-CORROSIVE
Spiral tanks are non corrosive. As they are manufactured form raw materials that is insert to most chemicals and is immune to electrolytic corrosion, they have a long life. Moreover, spiral tanks need no extra expensive lining unlike other tanks so save money.
HIGH IMPACTS STRENGTH
Spiral tanks have a homogenous construction with a seamless shell. The material of construction withstands high impact and not crack under stress. Moreover, if can withstand effectively the temperature range of-40°C to 80°C (HDPE) and +10°C (PP) due to suitable design factors.
EASY MAINTENANCE
HDPE spiral tanks are tough, non-corrosive and resistant to ultra-violet rays of sunlight. They do not require painting and can be safety installed outdoors. However, PP tanks shall be located indoor or away from direct sunlight.

HYGIENIC
Non-toxic and non-absorbent, a spiral tank does not impart and taste or odour. Its inner surface is easy to clean ad does no promote growth of bateria. Making it ideal for Pharmaceutical and food industries.
LEAK PROOF
The homogenous construction of a spiral tank makes if completely leak proof, thus minimising production losses due to shutdown.
ABRASION RESISTANT
Tough and durable, Spiral tanks have a very high resistance to abrasion, making them ideal for handling slurries and emulsions.
